Wegmans is consistently ranked on the lists for both places to work, and places to shop. It may be time for the food giant to move in to one of the hottest real estate markets in New York State.

As of now, East Aurora has a Tops store in the village.

After a construction project that took nearly two years, Whole Foods has finally opened its first Buffalo-area store.  Located on Sheridan Drive in Amherst in the Northtown Plaza on what used to be the Hens & Kelly, then later the Bon Ton store, Whole Foods was greeted by crowds of people eager to see what's inside.

The Massachusetts property management company that acquired ownership of the Northtown Plaza in Amherst in 2015 has received a commitment from its second major retailer.  According to the Buffalo News, L.L. Bean has signed a lease to open its first Buffalo-area store.
