Target announced on their website that they are offering to "Save Your Spot" for Black Friday shopping. Due to capacity limites with COVID-19, the company announced that you can have a spot held for you.

For the health of our guests and team members, we're currently limiting the number of guests inside our stores.

We'd still love to see you, so we made it a little easier to get in line. Search for stores near you, then select Save your spot. We'll hold a place in line at that store.

In order to save your spot, you need to go to their website and pick the store you want to shop at.

You won't be able to select a time, but you can check-in when you are ready to shop and they will let you know when you will be able to enter the store.

According to the website blackfriday.com, Target will also be offering some new services to help customers shop during COVID-19.

Contactless in-store payment: Target guests can check out contactlessly at self-checkout stations using "Wallet," a mobile payment option within the Target app.

MyCheckout: Target is rolling out 1,000 more MyCheckout devices at its stores across the country, allowing team members to help guests check out anywhere in the store and avoid waiting in line.

Target plans on being closed this year on Thanksgiving and will open at 7am on Black Friday.
