We all know that teens love their cell phones.  We also know that a large number of teens have taken up the nasty habit of smoking cigarettes.  Well, the National Cancer Institute has set up a text line aimed at helping those teens quit the habit.  Smokefree T-X-T is a free text message service that will provide round the clock advice and tips to teens that smoke and would like to quit.  Here is how it works: .....

Teens text "quit" to (47848), select a quit date and then messages are sent on a regular basis to motivate and help them reach their goal.  The text line will continue to text your teen for 6 weeks after their quit date just to keep them focused and on the right path!
