If I had my choice of restoring any building in Buffalo, my pick would be the old New York Central Terminal. Back in the 1930's and 40's, this architectural masterpiece was considered by many to be one of the crown jewels of Buffalo. Of course that was back in the day when the railways were king and people frequently traveled by train. It is such a shame that this building has sat pretty much unused since 1979, except for the occasional photo shoot, party or other fundraiser. Maybe I am just a dreamer, but I would love to see this building restored for all Buffalonians to see and enjoy. In case you are unfamiliar with the Central Terminal or have not been there in a while, please check out this video and make some comments.
