The Buffalo Bills are taking on the New York Jets on Monday night, and when they do, they'll face a brand new head coach.

According to ESPN, The New York Jets are firing their head coach Robert Saleh.

Saleh has been the head coach for the Jets through some of their worst years.  He started in 2021 with a brand-new quarterback in Zack Wilson who was underwhelming to say the least.

Last year, they went all in to get Aaron Rodgers and he was injured in the first game of the year.  This year, they're starting at 2-3 and Rogers is already struggling with a low ankle sprain.

Needless to say, it's been a rough start for Saleh who was praised for his defensive mind when coming from San Francisco.

Things have felt a little dicey with Saleh and his new quarterback this year.  In a video that was captured on the sidelines during one of their games earlier, Saleh can be seen trying to celebrate with Rodgers as he's coming off the field following a touchdown and Rogers is clearly not interested in any of it.  He pushes Saleh back and then gives him a nasty look.

The Bills will now face the Jets in New Jersey on Monday night with the Jets Defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich acting as interim head coach.  It could be good news for the Bills, but it could make it even tougher.  When you have a coach that you know, you can study tendencies and previous calls.  When there's a brand new coach at the helm, you will wind up guessing as to what he will do.

The 3-2 Bills will face off against the 2-3 Jets on Monday night with hopes of ending a 2 game losing streak.
