Think Monday Was Rough? You Won’t Love Saturday
The weather is about to get much warmer! The problem with that is winds will get very strong as the warmer weather moves in tot he Buffalo and Western New York area.

According to forecasts for the weekend, this Saturday's wind storm will be one of the worst in awhile. In fact, this Saturday could be worse than what we saw on Monday.

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued the following advisory for Western New York.
HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SATURDAY EVENING...
* WHAT...Southwest winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 65 mph
possible.
* WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, and
Chautauqua counties.
* WHEN...From Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.
* IMPACTS...Damaging winds may bring down numerous trees and power
lines. Some property damage possible. Widespread power outages
are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles.
It may be a good idea to bring in some of the decorations that you have for the day on Saturday. Inflatables look great but are very light. I suggest that you unplug them and put something heavy on them to hold them in place or else that blow up Santa and his sleigh will be on your neighbors front lawn or roof Sunday morning!
Monday sure was rough with the wind and the snow. It was brutal in Orchard Park for the fans who sat through Monday Night Football as the cold winds and snow pounded the area for most of the night. This Saturday's winds will be worse than what we saw on Monday.
