I always have a small dispenser of purell in my purse; it’s just handy for those instances where there isn’t a restroom around, trust me there are more than you think.  I always laugh because whenever I use my Purell at lunch usually everyone that is with me will hold their hands out for me to share with them, which I do.  According to a recent survey commissioned by Purell, the hand sanitizer people, 2 in 5 American adults have hesitated to shake hands with someone because they were afraid of germs. And 55 percent of Americans would rather touch a public toilet seat than shake someone's hand after they've coughed or sneezed into it.  Nobody wants to shake a recently sneezed on hand, right?  I was at an event last fall and this guy approached me, sneezed in to his hand and reached to shake mine.  I just politely patted his shoulder and went on with the conversation.  I find it weird that people don’t take in to consideration that other’s may not want to touch their germs, don’t get me wrong I don’t have a germ-phobia but really you’re going to sneeze in your hand and then shake mine.  Happy flu season everyone!
