This Week We Honor Benjamin Wilamowski As Our Hometown Hero Of The Week
This week we honor a marine from West Seneca as this week’s Hometown Hero. It’s 20 year old lance corporal Benjamin Wilamowski.
His nomination came from his sister and said this:
My brother Ben joined the USMC two years ago with his 3 best friends Pat Kloster, Jordan Lechner & Nicholas Katashuk, who are all active duty and currently serving in the corps. He is currently in South Korea on a six month deployment. This past Christmas was our first Christmas without him home and it was tough but we are so very proud of him and all his friends serving and are awaiting a safe return home.
So this week, we would like to honor and recognize Ben, his friends, and all of their families. We are proud to call Ben our Hometown Hero of the week!
If you would like see a picture of Ben or to nominate someone to be our next Hometown Hero, click the button below. We will choose a new Hometown Hero each Friday. If their name is chosen, we will not only feature them on WYRK.com, but we’ll be sure to thank them for their service on the air and dedicate the first song on Noon Tunes to them.
Once again, thank you to Lance Corporal Benjamin Wilamowski, our Hometown Heroes of the week!
