This Week’s Hometown Hero Is Corporal Thomas Shanor!

It’s time once again for this week’s Hometown Hero.  The Hometown Hero is brought to you by Keller Chevrolet and Batavia Downs Gaming.  She is originally from Buffalo, NY.  This week’s Hometown Hero is US Marine Corps Corporal Thomas Shanor.

He is a crew chief who has been on two back to back deployments. His first deployment was on the 15th MEU for 8 months. He then deployed to Afghanistan for 7 months. He returned safely on February 28, 2014.  He is described as a great man who is very dedicated, brave and selfless and sacrifices so much to continue to defend our freedom. He is a hard worker and never complains. He always finds the positive in every situation.

We are proud to name Corporal Thomas Shanor our Hometown Hero of the week and thank him for his service to our country!
