UPDATE:

The warm and clear weather we have had the past week has allowed kids to enjoy being outside. However, the sun sets earlier and drivers may not people walking along roadways in the early evening.

Any parent will tell you that it is their worst fear. Getting a call from police that your child has been hurt. I admit, that I am a nervous wreck when our kids are playing in the front yard. Even though we live on a dead end road, I still worry about the cars that go back and forth. We have three little boys that love to play and run and I am constantly reminding them to stay away from the road and stay on the lawn.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families involved and will keep you posted on any further developments.
