Today In Country Music History: Miranda Lambert

Happy Birthday goes out today to Miranda Lambert!  Last night she won Female Vocalist Of The Year at the CMAs but it was 28 years ago that she was brought into this world.

You may remember that she was in the top 3 on the first season of Nashville Star.  A class that also included Buddy Jewel. 

Her career has only gone up since that season of Nashville Star.  She's gone on to release 5 hit records and win a ton of awards.  She started up a new girl group this year called "Pistol Annies" and she married Blake Shelton.  It's been a big year for Miranda.  Happy 28th birthday to her today!
