10 Most Shazamed Songs This Week In Western New York

In a city as diverse as Buffalo, we’re exposed to music from all kinds of genres, from unknown indie bands to major pop stars to local hip hop acts. To find out the songs that fellow music-lovers in Western New York are into right now, we went straight to a popular source.

The mobile app Shazam comes in handy when we hear a new song we’ve never heard before, or when we hear a familiar song we love but just can’t seem to remember who sings it or what it’s called. It’s admittingly a little creepy, but we can’t begin to count how many times that little blue button has saved the day.

It’s also fun to browse Shazam’s weekly list of the songs people sought out the most, because sometimes we can discover some new stuff we’ve never heard, or realize that so many of us Western New York are also obsessed with the exact same song.
