Tops Truck Drivers Given American Flags By Buffalo-Niagara Honor Flight

Truck drivers are important any day, week, month or year, but especially right now with the coronavirus pandemic. They're getting the food and essential supplies to grocery stores and other essential businesses, which keeps the country going.

According to WIVB, all 115 Tops warehouse truck drivers were given American flags by Buffalo-Niagara Honor Flight, to show appreciation for their service during the pandemic.

“We see your truck drivers on the road, your grocery clerks in the stores, and your warehouse personnel working hard, around the clock, to provide nourishment,” Tom Petrie, president of Buffalo-Niagara Honor Flight, said in a statement. “Our organization and Veteran population thank you for helping us through this pandemic.”
