Update: Three People Shot On The 190 Near The Peace Bridge

Traffic is at a standstill on the 190 Southbound near the Peace Bridge in Buffalo.  The reason they're giving is for 'police activity.'

If you need to drive around Buffalo today, you're going to want to avoid the 190 Southbound near the Peace Bridge.  It's being reported that there was a shooting there.

While initial reports had said that two people were shot, the updated reports are saying that there were three people shot.  Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that one of the people has died.

All lanes are blocked from exit 9 through exit 8.  Traffic is backed up for miles.  They are encouraging people to find a new route if they have to drive into or around the city today.  Police are currently conducting an investigation to see what happened.

The left lane of the 190N in that area is also closed as the investigation continues.
