Urgent Recall In New York State Is Not So Cool

The hot summer weather is on the way as kids across Western New York State are ready for school to end and the fun to start!

There are dozens of great ways to be the heat this summer but one of the most popular is a trip to a local ice cream stand or a dish of your favorite ice cream at home.

But before you eat, make sure that it is not part of the current recall.

Ice Cream Recall Impacting All of New York State

NBC reports that: "RECALL ALERT: Breyers issued a recall of its Natural Vanilla flavor due to a misprint on the packaging, affecting over 6,000 cases across the United States".

The weather is about to get very hot as we get to the first full week of summer next week. The forecast is calling for the temps to get in to the upper 80's and there is no doubt that there will be some sort of heat advisory posted. Now is the time to get a plan in place to escape the heat.

Keep in mind, New York State is offering FREE air conditioners for those families that qualify and there is a way to apply through New York State.
