Today three former Buffalo Bills players will have a chance to do something that no current Buffalo Bills players have had a chance to do....win a football championship.

Today the United States Football League aka USFL will hold its championship game and three former Buffalo Bills players will be part of the game.

Two players with the Philadelphia Stars spent some time with the Buffalo Bills during training camp but never made it to a regular-season roster.

Cornerback Brian Allen was part of the Buffalo Bills training camp in 2020 but was released before the start of the season. This year with the Stars, Allen has made 32 tackles and had one interception.

Bug Howard is a tight end who was with the Buffalo Bills during their 2021 training camp and was also released before the start of the season. This year Howard has 30 catches for 371 yards and four touchdowns.

On the other side of the field, Victor Bolden Jr. will suit up for the Birmingham Stallions. Bolden Jr. has had a banner season for the Stallions this year. He had 475 yards receiving, which was 4th most in the season along with one touchdown. He also had 618 kickoff returns and 176 punt return yards. Bolden Jr. played for the Buffalo Bills in 2018. He played in two games that season returning five kickoffs for an average of 23.2 yards.
