The 2020 Buffalo Bills season is underway! I will admit, I was not sure that there would ever be an NFL season this year. The COVID-19 pandemic has shut down just about every event and activity that we have enjoyed in the past.

The rain was coming down in buckets for a time on Sunday morning in Orchard Park. If fans were allowed to be in the parking lots outside of Bills Stadium, they would have gotten soaked prior to the gates opening. However, the guidelines and rules set by New York State and the National Football League made it so fans are not allowed in the stadium. At least for now.

It sure was quiet inside the stadium. Too quiet! But them game was played and prior to the game, the National Anthem was performed.

It was local artist, Caitlin Koch who was asked to perform the anthem in a rendition recorded earlier in the week. Fans may be familiar with Koch's voice as she has been the opening day singer in the past.

The teams were not on the field at the time when CBS carried the anthem prior to the start of the game against the New York Jets.
