WATCH: Police Officer Breaks Down After Final Sign Off After 35 Years of Service

It's life's moments like this that are worth the time you put into them.

A police officer was tapped as he did his last sign off, calling into the station to say he was done. You can see him get emotional right after it happens.

His wife, in a post on Facebook wrote:

Tonight was my husband’s final sign off after 35 years of service ... was a bittersweet night for us.
