Liz Mantel + I are major fans of Sam Hunt and when Clay went to go to Florida he caught Sam Hunt performing and the first thing that was asked was "did he do the covers".

This is what we were talking about. Sam Hunt is one of the major up-and-comers who was recently nominated for the ACM New Artist of the Year and in addition to his own stuff you can catch him doing covers of Reba, Destiny's Child, Mariah Carey and Deana Carter night after night.

If you didn't know, Sam has a few hits that he has written under his belt already, including Keith Urban's 'Cop Car' and Billy Currington's 'We Are Tonight'.
