We were talking a little bit about car colors yesterday and white turns about to be America’s most popular color, but what do colors say about you as a driver?  Do they reveal anything about your personality?

A British research company did a study a while back and found that color does say something about who you are.

Drivers of red cars are dynamic people with a lot of energy who had sex appeal.  An American study showed something a little different – that drivers of red cars lacked confidence.  Another interesting about red cars – compared to other colors they’re the most likely to be involved in an accident.

Yellow cars?  They’re driven by happy people with sunny, youthful dispositions.  But maybe they’re a little too happy because yellow cars have a high percentage of accidents.

How about green cars?  Those drivers are often trustworthy, very traditional and pretty even keeled in temperament.

Blue cars?  Depends on the shade of blue.  Light to medium blue cars were driven by quiet, faithful and calm
people.  Dark blue car drivers were credibile, confident and dependable.  They also had one of the lower risks of being involved in a crash.

Drivers of purple cars are creative, artistic, original and tend to keep to themselves.

If you drive a gray car you’re likely very serious, sober, calm and hardworking with above average confidence with a low rate of crashes.

Drivers of white cars are very concerned with details and accuracy.  They’re concerned about cleanliness and I guess if you drive a white car that would make sense.  Those drivers are often extroverts.

Drive a black vehicle?  You likely are very confident and not easily manipulated and appreciates older things.

Drivers of silver cars are calm, cool and somewhat detached.  They also have the lowest likelihood of being involved in a serious crash.

Orange cars?  Their drivers are talkative, fun-loving and trendy.

Drivers of brown cars are no-nonsense and down-to-earth.

Know anybody who drives a pink car – other than people who sell Mary Kay products?  If you do they’re most likely gentle, loving people.
