When Does Darien Lake Open For The Summer?

With the balmy weather we've been experiencing here in the Buffalo area many of you may be wondering if Darien Lake will be opening early this year. I spoke with a representative at Darein Lake and was told that opening day will take place on May 12th. When asked about the possibility of opening the park sooner I was told that was not possible because of the extensive renovations going on at this time.  Well that's just great... now I can't wait to see what kind of improvements are being made to the park.
