According to WIVB Weather, a High Wind Warning will be in effect for Niagara, Erie, Orleans, Genesee, Wyoming, and Chautauqua counties from 5 am Monday morning to 11 pm on Monday night.

A High Wind Watch that same timeframe for Cattaraugus, Allegany, McKean, and Potter counties.

The weather will start to deteriorate overnight Sunday into Monday with increasing winds and rain. Upwards of 60-70 mph winds are projected during Monday afternoon -- between 2 pm to 7 pm. Widespread power outages are expected.

A few thunderstorms will be around as well, as the cold front rips through the region.

Winds will slowly back off on Monday night but the "threshold" for damaging winds will still be around until Tuesday morning.

The week will be cold as well. Low-to-mid 40's are the projected highs for the entire week.
