I sure hope they are right. I am a huge fan of snow and although it may cause a few headaches on the roads, Western New York could use some snow. I love to snowmobile and it has been a couple years since we have had any really good conditions. Perhaps after tonight and tomorrow we will be able to get the sleds out??The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning that is expected to drop 8-16' of new snow for us by tomorrow night. True, the trails are pretty wet and may not open right away even if we do get some snow. However, it's a good start and the ski resorts won't complain either. There are parts of the economy that suffer from a mild/snow less winter.

Be safe on the roads over the next 36 hours. It sounds like things could get tricky especially from Buffalo to the south.
