WNY To Reach Phase 3 Reopening On Tuesday
It''s been talked about for the last few days, but it appears it will indeed happen.
According to WGRZ, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced on Saturday that Western New York is on track and expected to enter Phase 3 reopening on Tuesday, June 16th.
Phase 3 is important because it includes dine-in at restaurants and bars, with restrictions, however. It's a major step in reopening many people have been waiting for.
Phase 3 also includes nail salons, tattoo parlors, massage therapy, spas, and the Department of Motor Vehicles, on a reservation basis only.
New York State has reported the lowest number of COVID-19-related deaths since the pandemic began (32). Governor Cuomo also announced the lowest hospitalizations from the virus since March 20th.
While New York State was the worst-infected state when the pandemic began, it's now the best, according to the governor.
I personally cannot wait to sit down at a restaurant again. We haven't done that in three months...
