This is one scam that can happen right in front of your eyes and you may have no idea.

You know how the gas pump hoses dangle from up above? Well, before you get there someone has already switched the hoses to go to the other side. You simply just pull it and put it inside the place where you find the pump. Then, you put your credit card in and you think it's working fine-and-dandy because the meter is going up, but really it is going into the scam artists car.

Police officials were ever hesitant to release the video because they didn't want any copy-cats of the scam.

Watch this one and just remember: be aware of your surroundings at the gas pump.
