WYRK New Music Spotlight — Blackberry Smoke [VIDEO]

Blackberry Smoke stopped by Mickey Rats last week to play for our WYRK listener lunch winners! The band is beloved by Zac Brown and is signed to ZBB's Southern Ground Artists label.

Band members Charlie Starr, Richard Turner, Brandon Stil, Brit Turner and Paul Jackson are hardcore southern rockers who have toured with ZZ Top, George Jones, the Marshal Tucker Band and more. Their sound is a laid-back mix of southern rock, country, blues and gospel. In my opinion, that's a great recipe for today's country fans.
