The Buffalo Bills opened up the 2021 regular season against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Highmark Stadium this past Sunday, and while the result was not what Bills fans wanted, it was amazing to see the stadium full for the first time in nearly two years.
Going to Bills home games is a rite of passage for Buffalonians. It's truly an experience and it has to do with the stuff you do before and after the game, not just during the game.
I've been going to Bills games for 22 years -- my first game was when I was still a little kid. Looking back, I probably shouldn't have gone to a Bills game that young, but over the years I've grown to appreciate why they're so beloved.
