Massive Country Star Promises To Attend Buffalo Bills Game
You can’t help but smile when people support your hometown team, and it seems to happen a lot in Western New York. After all, we have been named the most dedicated fanbase in the NFL.
So it’s not too surprising to hear that a massive country star wants to return to Western New York for a preseason game?
Over the weekend, there were several country stars that performed at Highmark Stadium, including Hailey Whitters, The Avett Brothers, Mitchell Tenpenny, Jordan Davis, and Luke Combs.
People have been preparing for the back-to-back concerts at Highmark Stadium since August, and there’s one big reason why: The last time an artist performed sold out back-to-back shows was the Jackson 5 in 1984.
That means that what happened this weekend has been 40 years in the making, and there were a lot of memorable moments throughout the weekend.
Many people who attended the Saturday show for Luke Combs had a lasting impression from Luke’s direct support, Jordan Davis. Davis may be from Louisiana, but he never misses an opportunity to voice his appreciation for the Buffalo Bills.
In fact, he wanted to see what the Bills Mafia tailgating was all about. Jordan Davis bundled up on Saturday afternoon before heading out to the lots to tailgate before the concert. Davis told us he was planning to tailgate, but when he went out to the lots, he never got a chance to see someone break a table, which is a pretty standard thing for a Bills tailgate.
One of the reasons that Jordan Davis is so familiar with the Bills Mafia and the overall hype vibe of Buffalo is because his drummer and videographer are actually from Buffalo, New York. Since they are Buffalonians, Jordan Davis asked them to lead the “Let’s Go, Buffalo!” chant during the concert on Saturday.
Western New York knows how to party, but there’s no denying that a concert tailgate is slightly different than a football game tailgate.
But before Jordan Davis left Buffalo, he made a promise to the Bills Mafia that he would be back.
Davis shared a picture to Instagram holding his #24 jersey along with the caption: “@buffalobills see you @ preseason.”

We’re looking forward to having you back during football season!
