Biggest country hits of the 2000's? Tim McGraw's massive hit from 2004 is definitely in that discussion.

Released in early June of 2004, "Live Like You Were Dying" skyrocketed to #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart in just seven weeks....and stayed there for just as many (7). It also spent an unprecedented 10 weeks atop the Mediabase chart. The song was the first single off Tim's album of the same name that year.

It won the CMA and ACM award for "Song of the Year", as well as a Grammy for "Best Country Song."

The first time I heard "Live Like You Were Dying", I knew it would be a huge hit. If anyone has lost anyone close to them it hits home even harder. It can be pretty scary thinking about how much time you have on earth but this song puts such a sweet and heartwarming vibe on the subject.
