The biggest country music concert of 2026 in Western New York will take place on June 26 in downtown Buffalo, and the 25th anniversary edition of the WYRK Taste of Country is just a few weeks away. Now, an exciting new addition has been announced for the lineup.

Over the past 25 years, WYRK has brought some of the biggest names in country music to Buffalo for this one-day summer music festival.

The show will once again be held at Sahlen Field, home of the Buffalo Bisons. Sahlen Field has hosted this annual listener appreciation concert since the event moved from its original location at Chestnut Ridge Park.

After graduating, Cooper worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Ohio. During his 14-mile daily route, he became locally famous for singing while delivering mail, earning the nickname “The Singing Mailman.”
