What country song defined your childhood? There's a few options...but for me, I just might pick "Something Like That" by Tim McGraw.

Released in June of 1999, it reached number one on the Mediabase country chart the third week of September. It also hit the top on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

The song spent five weeks at number one and not only that, but according to Nielsen BDS, "Something Like That" was the most played song on country radio during the 2000's, with near 500,000 radio spins.

Written by Rick Ferrell and Keith Follesé, the song was the second single off Tim's A Place in the Sun album.

This is one of Tim McGraw's biggest hits. In fact, it probably was his biggest before "Live Like You Were Dying" was released in 2004. This song was EVERYWHERE when I was a kid. Never gets old, you have to sing along every time.
