The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for parts of Western New York, mainly in the Southern Tier.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Southern Erie
  counties.

* WHEN...From 1 PM this afternoon to 1 PM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could become difficult.

If you plan on celebrating tonight for New Year's Eve, please use caution while on the roads.
