It's time for this week's Hometown Hero -- brought to you by Keller Chevrolet and Batavia Downs Gaming. Today's Hometown Hero comes to us originally from Albion. He is on his fourth deployment. Our Hometown Hero is Sergeant Jeremy Cook.

Jeremy has been serving in the Army for almost eight years now. His home base is in Fort Carson, Colo., but he is currently serving over in Kuwait until later this summer. This is his fourth deployment to Iraq. It was his parents who nominated him to be this week's Hometown Hero, and they add that they are incredibly proud of him for his service to our country.

We are too. That's why we are happy to call him this week's Hometown Hero. Thank you to Sergeant Jeremy Cook and his parents for their service and sacrifice.

Remember, if you would like to nominate someone who is currently serving our country or has served in the past, simply click the button below. We will honor a new Hometown Hero each week, and if their name is picked, not only do we mention them on the air but we also dedicate the first song on Noon Tunes to them.

Thank you once again to Jeremy Cook, this week’s Hometown Hero!
