This one may hit a little closer to home because well...he is from home. Buffalo, New York that is. This young man, Adam Mazzeo, moved to California for the Army has not seen his mom, Hellen, in quite some time. He decided that he was going to surprise her after 8 months at the restaurant that she works at, and boy, it was quite a surprise.

When adversity hits in the face, when dangerous is looking at us in the face, we look right back at it and we ask them a question....we say: "Where else would you rather be, than right here, right now."

It’s Veteran’s Day, and we here at WYRK would like to thank everyone who has served and is currently serving in our United States Military. I would like to take a couple seconds to stop and say thank you to one veteran in particular. He’s my favorite veteran. He’s my dad.

There's nothing more heart wrenching than to watch a soldier be reunited with their family after coming home. This one is from here in Western New York.
