If you're like everyone else in Western New York, we miss our live music.

We miss concerts.

We miss going out to see our concert buddies, having beer and waking up the next morning with our voices shot and a slight hangover--they're signs of a great night. As restaurants begin to open more and the bars are allowed to serve, some places are granted permission to have some LIVE music, socially distance rules apply, of course.

Here are 3 places that regularly have music in Western New York that can get your live music fix, but make sure you plan ahead because some of the shows require RSVP'ing.

"Music in The Woods"
Emerald Grove at Artpark in Lewison
450 S 4th St, Lewiston, NY 14092

Music is back in Lewiston at Artpark as it held its first Music in the Woods concert on Sunday and will continue every week throughout the rest of the Fall. The park has been hosting these at the Emerald Grove stage in the Lower Park which overlooks the Niagara River Gorge.

Now, these live music events aren't your typical, beer-drinking, background bar badns that you may be used to (don't worry--we'll get to those, too) Bands like Drum Circle with Stephen Bell, Svetlana & The New York Collective and UB Faculty Jazz Quartet with guest vocalist Alex McArthur will be part of the series this year.

'Groovin' in the Grove'
Banchetti's
550 N French Rd, Buffalo, NY 14228

Talk about a fun time. It's a party--but, with social distancing rules. You must RSVP. But, the bands you'll see at 'Groovin' in the Grove' are some of the party popular bands. These are some of the best substitutes that you can possibly find in WNY for major concerts. The concerts happen usually on Tuesdays and Fridays, but you must plan ahead.

THE STAGE
8166 Main St, Buffalo, NY 14221, United States

The Stage is, of course, the old Howdy's or Nashville's on Main Street in Clarence. The new owner took over and is continuing the live music tradition. There are a few live-music shows on the calendar you can purchase tickets for. Social distancing rules will be in effect, and people will be spaced out, but you can see the schedule for favorites like Beatlemania, Matt Rogers and Exodus Bob Marley Tribute Band here.
