Newly Opened Buffalo Restaurant Goes Up For Sale
It's been a rough last few years for the restaurant industry in general, but especially in Western New York.
The pandemic shut down bars and restaurants multiple times, and for some places, they were forced to close due to loss of revenue. It's gotten much better over the last year or so, but there are some places which have closed or have gone up for sale, due to a multitude of reasons (retirement, change of heart, money, etc.).
Another Buffalo restaurant has gone up for sale and it's no stranger to changes in the last few months.
Buffalo Business First is reporting that Oscar’s Hollywood Arts Café is up for sale, which is just a few months after the business opened at the home of the former 31 Club.
Restaurant owner JJ Alfieri passed away unexpectedly a few months ago.
The building is pretty huge and the square feet of the property is over 7,000 square feet with a 15-car parking lot. The building was renovated back in 2008. There's still hope the building remains a bar and restaurant, with many offers already filtering in, per Buffalo Business First.
It's a prime location and hopefully it's able to star a bar and restaurant. Allentown is such a prime real estate area of Buffalo, just for how busy it can be, so it will be interesting to see if this can stay a restaurant and what changes would be made to it.
Allentown has seen a few places go up for sale in recent years, including Mulligan's on Allen street.
