Storms Cause Damage At Bills’ New Stadium Site
Slowly but surely, we’re seeing the progress of the Buffalo Bills’ new stadium.
After existing as just a massive pit (that fans “sacrificed” things to) last season, the site across the street from the Bills’ current home on Highmark Stadium is actually starting to look like it could be, well, a building.
This past April they gave an update on the new stadium’s progress, and fans are hoping it will finally be done by the promised date of 2026.

Additionally, what was left of Hurricane Beryl sent torrential downpours, strong winds, and hail throughout much of the area, including Orchard Park, New York.
Damage To Buffalo Bills Construction Equipment After Powerful Storms
According to The Buffalo News, a large crane at the construction site of the new Buffalo Bills stadium was struck by lightning during the dangerous storms experienced across Western New York. According to a spokesperson for Erie County, the crane was damaged, but thankfully no one was hurt.
It was originally thought the crane would be out of commission for a couple of weeks, however its reported that it is back in operation.
What a crazy summer this has been, weather-wise! We hope things calm down.
