Alligator Found In Jamestown

I once found an iguana in a parking lot.  I've found lots of cats and even some snakes that were once pets.  But never something like this.

According to WGRZ , Jamestown police found a 3 foot long alligator hanging out in a resident's yard on McKinley Ave in Jamestown early Tuesday morning. 

Animal control was called and the animal was captured but at theis point, no one knows who the gator belongs to or how long it was outside.

Fortunately for the gator, it is going to be turned over to a Wildlife organization in the Buffalo area.
