Amazing News From Alex Trebek
“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek says his doctors have told him his Stage 4 pancreatic cancer is in “near remission.” Some of the tumors have already shrunk by more than 50 percent and his doctors say they've never seen anything like it.
Trebek publicly revealed in March that he had been diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. And if you've ever known anyone with that diagnosis they're usually encouraged to get their affairs in order. But Trebek said at the time he was going to fight this and keep working, joking that he had to "because under the terms of my contract, I have to host Jeopardy! for three more years!”
Trebek told People Magazine that he gives credit to the support from fans who have expressed their good thoughts, their positive energy and their prayers. His doctors agree that it has to be more than just the chemo..."it could very well be an important part of this.”
Trebek says he's not fully there. He still has several more rounds of chemotherapy to go through before he can finally get into full remission.
