A lot of New Yorkers are forking up a little bit of extra money because of a change that abruptly happened to Amazon Shoppers.

There was a time that you could have your address as an option on someone else's account so that you didn't have to pay for your own Amazon Prime account.

You cannot SHARE an Amazon Account with someone anymore.

Well, you CAN share an account with someone, but you can't send it to any other address. So, if you share an account with people that are outside of your home, they won't be able to ship packages to anyone's house but yours. Amazon is cracking down on account sharing. Now, you will only be able to ship to one address. The crackdown is trying to get everyone to have their own account and less 'mess ups' if you click the wrong address on your account. Now, each household or person will need to buy the $14.99 Amazon Prime account. Here is a pro tip too if you use a music subscription such as Amazon Music, Apple Music or Spotify. Did you know that if you have an Amazon Prime subscription that you already will get a free Amazon Music subscription. So, do not pay for 2 different things when it is already included in one. You could save yourself hundreds of dollars.
