Are You Mad You Can’t See Mug Shots in New York State Anymore?

What do you think? Should all mug shots be posted? Now, the names can still be released, but the pictures cannot be in New York State as of recent change.

You could argue that you would want to know if there is a dangerous person with felony charges? Does that apply with a marijuana possession charge? New York State Police legally cannot post up any mugshots and if a news outlet calls and says they want a mug shot they are not allowed to obtain them under new state law.
