Allstate and American Family Insurance are set to refund approximately $800M to customers.

Allstate refunded 15% of customers’ premiums, and American Family Insurance gave out a flat payment of $50 per vehicle.

Allstate is also offering anyone, even if you’re not a customer, free identity protection for the rest of the year "since our lives have become more digital," reports CNN Business.

Other insurance companies such as State Farm and Progressive are also looking at refund packages.
