Terrel Bernard’s Interception: Why We’re Watching It On Repeat

Two times’ a charm for one popular member of the Buffalo Bills defense. 

In the week leading up to their highly anticipated matchup against the (then) undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, pundits and fans couldn’t stop talking about the role of the Bills’ defensive roster, and what an integral role they’ll play in the Bills (then) possibly getting a week eleven win. 

Now that we know how impressive their performance was in their 30-21 win at home against their top rivals (the Chiefs' first loss in close to a year), one player in blue stood out among the rest.

Congrats, Terrel Bernard! 

During the reigning Super Bowl champ’s last ditch effort to score, Bernard's interception of Mahomes to Kelce in the 4th quarter sealed the deal for the Buffalo Bills, and the AFC took notice, giving him the honor of Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in his career.

Are we terrible people for watching it over again...and again...and again? NAH.

When Bernard nabbed that ball, the collective sigh of relief was heard around Western New York. There were literal tears, screams, and fireworks going off in every which direction.
