Better Business Bureau Warns Against People Sharing Their Senior Photos Online
There's a trend going around on Facebook, Instagram and other social media sites, where people share their high school senior photos in support of the 2020 high school seniors, who can't have a standard final semester of school.
But the Better Business Bureau recommends you do not do that, according to WIVB.
Apparently, scammers can use that info to answer common online security questions. Scammers can find out more about you with that senior photo information.
The BBB also warns anyone taking those popular Facebook quizzes, as that can be the information used against you as well (including your account getting hacked).
I think it should be okay to share a photo but it makes sense to not give a ton of information since scammers are really good these days using even just a little bit of information.
