Beware of Weather Related Scammers

It's sad to think that there are horrible people people that prey on others who suffer from accidents or weather related damage like what we saw recently with the tornadoes that hit Western New York.

The Better Business Bureau is warning folks in Western New York affected by recent storms and tornadoes to beware of scammers.The BBB says storms can have scammers driving door to door to offer phony services.  The BBB says not to pay in cash up front, always check for a business card and to check their car to see if it is actually a business's car or has out of state plates.  The BBB has a scam tracker online and urges folks wary of scams to use it.
