The Toronto Blue Jays kick off their home games at Sahlen Field in downtown Buffalo on Tuesday, June 1st when they host the Miami Marlins.

Fans in Western New York are very excited about the Blue Jays coming back to Buffalo, since fans will actually be allowed in the stands (as opposed to last year) and that showed last week, when tickets to the first three series of games went on sale last week and were gone within a matter of hours!

But there was great news on Monday morning for fans who missed out on tickets.

According to WIVB, the Blue Jays will be adding more fully vaccinated seating to games starting on June 15th, when the Jays kick off their three-game home stand against the New York Yankees.

Seating capacity will increase to 45 percent (roughly 7,500 people). Tickets for the games against the Yankees will go on sale this Thursday at 10 am.

Also announced by the Blue Jays, they will no longer require fans sitting in the outdoor seating bowl to wear masks.

Tickets for games starting on June 24th will go on sale to Bisons season ticket holders starting on June 8th, and to the general public on June 10th.

I cannot wait to get to one of these games and see actual Major League Baseball in downtown Buffalo. I know many fans are itching to get to the Yankees games against the Blue Jays, which are the hottest ticket out there. Get ready for Thursday!
