Some Buffalo Bills Fans Are Upset What the Dolphins Did on Sunday
The Buffalo Bills had a huge victory on Sunday, beating the Washington Commanders 37-3.
The Bills defense showed up in a big way, intercepting Commanders quarterback Sam Howell four times, while also sacking him eight times. The Bills also forced a fumble, meaning they forced five total turnovers.
The Bills should be 3-0 but because of the costly turnovers against the New York Jets in week 1, they are 2-1 and not atop the AFC East.
The team that is atop the AFC East is the Miami Dolphins.
The Dolphins are 3-0 and will play Buffalo this Sunday in Orchard Park. The game will be a 1 pm game and while the question has been posed already by NFL fans, no, the game cannot be flexed into a prime time matchup. It's too early in the season for that to happen. Chances are the top CBS crew (Jim Nantz and Tony Romo) will be at Highmark Stadium to call the game.
The Dolphins got their third win in convincing fashion, defeating the Denver Broncos, 70-20. Yes, Miami scored 70 points against Denver on Sunday.
Some Bills fans have seen the score and say that Miami ran up the score on Denver, which makes them less endearing to Bills fans (which they already weren't).
If you watched the game, however, the Dolphins did try and run the ball in the second half and burn clock. They happened to score their final three touchdowns not because they were throwing go-routes, but because of the lack of effort and tackling from the defense.
Still, the Dolphins putting up 70 points the week before playing the Bills is definitely something that will be a talking point heading into this week 4 matchup.
Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and wide receiver Tyreek Hill have been the best QB-WR duo in the NFL. They also have wide receiver Jaylen Waddle, who missed week 3 with a concussion, so we will have to wait and see if he plays in this game.
