Congratulations to Jake Fromm from The Buffalo Bills as he announced his engagement over the weekend.

Two big-time athletes from the University of Georgia decided to tie the knot soon over the weekend.  According to Athens Online, former University of Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm popped the question to his girlfriend, former University of Georgia volleyball player Caroline Ostman at a wedding venue called "The Belmont Place."

She was excited to post on her Instagram, "I get to marry the man of my DREAMS!! William Jacob Fromm I love you with my whole heart and I cannot wait to spend the rest of my life by your side."

Fromm was drafted to The Buffalo Bills last year in the fifth round of the NFL Draft.  Unfortunately, we didn't see much from him on the field this year.  He was held as a bit of a "safety" quarterback in the event that COVID hit the quarterback room.  In the event that Allen and Barkley couldn't play, Fromm would hopefully be able to test negative and lead the team.

He definitely had a lot of success in Georgia.  He racked up a 35-7 record as a Georgia starter from 2017-19, throwing 78 touchdowns with 18 interceptions with three SEC East titles and a trip to the national championship game as a freshman.

It will be interesting to see what his role is this year knowing that the Bills just signed another backup quarterback with Mitch Trubisky.  Will Fromm make the team?  As of right now, his Twitter page doesn't say that he's a Buffalo Bill.  It could be that he just never changed it, but for now it says "Quarterback at The University of Georgia #11."
