Billy Currington Talks #TOC2016, His New Single and Being Told He HAD to Wear Shoes on Stage

I had the chance to catch up with Billy Currington earlier this week. I wasn't sure what I was going to get because it was smack dab in the middle of Country Radio Seminar, which is essentially a big party in Nashville where artists and radio people hang out!

But he was ready to talk his new single, "It Don't Hurt Like It Used To", and his first official headlining tour "The 2016 Summer Forever Tour".

Billy Currington will be headlining this year's Toyota Taste of Country at Coca Cola Field on June 10th! It will be well into his first official headlining tour, which kicks off February 19th in San Antonio.

What's his tour going to be like and has he borrowed some ideas from artists he's opened for? Also, what's this about someone telling him he had to wear shoes on stage?

We hit all of this and his excitement that Kelsea Ballerini is joining him on his first journey into headlinemenship (Is that a word? I like it!)
