Bomb Cyclone Bringing Blizzard Conditions To New York State

A "Bomb Cyclone" is setting up over the Northeast, and it will bring a string of different weather events our way. Most of the state will be dealing with heavy rain and snow starting this afternoon and for the rest of the week.

A "Bomb Cyclone" happens when cold, dry air clashes with warm, moist air, creating intense winds, heavy snow or rain, and potential flooding. The high winds, along with the snow, will cause blizzard-like conditions for parts of New York this week.
